Yiqi Cao was born in Shenyang, China in and raised in Shenzhen, China. She received her bachelor’s degree of Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2026. 

 

Yiqi is very passionate about designing and illustrating cartoon characters in blizzard worlds of dreams and fantasy. She is interested in exploring visual possibilities by using vibrant colors, abstract shapes.

During spare time, she likes to cuddle with her cat, Bao Bao, and read comic. Historical fiction is her favorite genre. ​
